Parasite Festival
The parasite festival supplements the programs of big film and new media festivals with workshops and projections featuring commentary of directors, graphic artists and film theoreticians. This concept was well received by professionals and since last year we have taken part in FresFilmFest Karlovy Vary (students films), Music on Film * Film on Music Prague (music in films), Ostrava Picture (students films), B16 Brno (short films) … At the moment, program blocks are focused on music videos (CZ& SK music video zoo – by Havran, Vizcegrad music videos – by LP Fish, Censored music videos – by LP Fish, Deathmatch musicvideos vs. Comics – by Honza Mikota).
However, we also focus on other short forms which will be presented on festivals throughout the next year.

Community and information platform indust.cz is focused on acitve cooperation with creators of musicvideos, musicians, media and publicists. It contains all about CZ & SK musicvideos – news, articles, musicvideos database, discussion board and adress book of creators, production and creative studios, art schools, festivals and more.
Music videos and the music videoculture in general are a descendant of videoart. It helps to build our environment and the way we percieve the visual inputs. The videos are now in a stage similar to the stage of comic books several years ago. These were first considered a trash genre but step by step they established themselves as a standalone art discipline. The in.dust association is trying to bring these forms of art closer to general public.
Our Projects
Since 2005, in.dust has helped to organize tens of audiovisual projects and video experiments. Many of these took part in top film festivals and new media presentations . They were placed in top positions among international competition (for example one dot zero http://www.onedotzero.com or Lille 3000 www.lille3000.com).
